My colleagues say that I bring a calm energy to a team and I'm good at forming a vision, creating momentum, and cutting through tension. One of them described my process as "unhinged, but still grounded." I think it's because I take my work seriously, but I'm not a serious person.

I always start by looking around to see what's possible. How far can we push the technology available to us? How much capacity do our users have to change how they work? Then, I work horizontally all the way from data research to marketing, turning the idea into something real.

I personally find the advancements in technology exciting, and the future looks bright from where I stand. That is not everyone's experience of AI, though, and building a product that both honors that and helps people adapt is perhaps the most important skill a product designer could have right now, and it's how I measure my success.
